Kathryn Erneston Gilmore

Kathryn Erneston Gilmore went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, July 12, 2025, she was 97. The daughter of Chris and Nell Erneston, founder of Erneston Produce and sister of Chris Erneston, Jr., Elinor Wells, and Jimmy Dan Erneston;

Kathryn was born in West Palm Beach September 2, 1927. She graduated from Palm Beach High School and attended Florida State College for Women in Tallahassee.

She married Robert Stanley Gilmore, co-owner of Gilmore Electric Co. on June 15, 1947, and were married for 62 years before he preceded her in death July 2, 2009. They raised their 4 children in North Palm Beach; Dee Reed of Stuart, Mark Gilmore (preceded in death), Rachel Nell Prestano of Ft Walton Beach, and Tamah Marks (preceded in death).

Kathryn attended and helped found Palm Bible Chapel in North Palm Beach, where Kathryn worked in the office and hosted a weekly Bible study in her home and counseled many with her husband Bob; starting Overcomers in 1986, a support and counseling ministry. In 1998 Kathryn and Bob moved to Jupiter and began attending Grace Immanuel Bible Church where she continued in ministry.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, Godly example and loyal friend who will be dearly missed. In addition to her 4 children Kathryn is survived by 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
