Mone, I'm writing this with tears in my eyes, and I know if you were here you would tell me to be strong and wipe those tears. The moments we've shared together have been nothing short of fun times. You always kept everyone laughing even when it was tough. I remember at Auntie house in Ga when me , you, Brandon, my mama and Tiffany went to get food for the house and me and you was in the back seat cracking up a storm, you had me laughing so hard I could barely breathe, and I wish I was having one of those moments now with you, but these are the good memories we hold onto and cherish. I love you and I know you are resting with our Father but know the family you left behind will miss you dearly!!! 

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord"

Lanechia (mone) I will always remember your love for us,you showed a 10-year-old flat-footed kid how to tie his shoes to prevent them from gapping. To my surprise when I asked if you knew, you said I know better and now you will too. Not a day goes by when I go to tie my shoes and think about that moment of knowledge and kindness you showed to me.


To your mom, sister and your legacy Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal

Lanechia was always loyal to her family. She was always bigger then who she was to me. Growing up, I still remember the times when we would have the big family cook outs at Pooh Ma house. Lanechia would have The Box playing and we would all just be dancing and rapping to our favorite music video songs. Lanechia always imbued the heartbeat of the family. She showed everyone she knew nothing but love and respect but her family was always first. She loved both Latoia and Jayvon so much. She did what she could to make both of you tougher for what the world will put in front of you. Auntie Dorothy, Lanechia was your first, but most importantly the most impactful of the family. She truly loved us all and will forever be missed!

I’m writing this with tears in my eyes because is a hard pill to swallow  my sister I miss you suga I can’t believe you gone my heart hurt every day since I found you was gone I remember the last night I saw you and you told me you love me I never thought that was going to be the last time I saw you I wait for the day I get a call from funny number and hear your voice saying hey sis if you did not know anybody number you know you baby sister phone number and you always said I know one thing and two thing for sure I would answer my phone guess you know I all had my head phone in my ear now I can’t hear your voice or see you face anymore i can’t hear you say where my grand babies at or where my nephew at or hear you say what you putting on my nephew let me see his outfit lol I miss you sis and I always will sister love forever so take your rest gone but never forgotten

Mone (Lanechia), had a smile that was contagious!!!  You couldn't help but smile when you saw her.  

 A scripture that resonate with me is: "Do not be afraid for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you. I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness."  "( Bible, Isaiah 41:10)" This is true, I believe this with all my heart. 

Aunt Dorothy, JaVon, Latoia & family, ALMIGHTY GOD will cover you and carry you through this time. As the above scripture says, God will really hold on to you.

To my dear friend, you have left many of us with heavy hearts. I will forever cherish, miss and think of all the good times we have shared together like going fishing, taking trips and many other things. You were someone who was misunderstood by many, but you really had a heart of gold. Thank you for all the good times and even the bad ones, because it was the bad times that helped us grow and become more wise. I will never forget you. Thank you for being apart of my life. Your job here is finished and you don’t have to suffer and fight no longer for you are with the Lord an I will see you again. I Love and miss you dearly.

I’m sorry that I took long to write you. But you know that this right here is a very hard pill for me to swallow. I don’t know if I will be able to swallow this one. I’m going to miss our laughs,(Mone laughs will have you  laughing so hard that it hurt you) the cuzn talks, and the tears when we had the talks. If it wasn’t me and Todd, it was me and Mone. We rode our bikes together, did hook slides until the tire bust. Mone was a such a delight to be around & a very loving cuzin. Mone loved her family as we loved her back. I’m going to miss you Mone Hendrix.!! Aka Mone!! Rest easy. Sleep well. It’s hard to say goodbye to my cousin Mone. 😢😢😢💔💔

Lanechia, 
It has taken me a little while to try to understand that you are no longer here.  For days I hoped you would knock on the door and say Mom I'm alright.

That never happened and my heart is broken. The nights are the worst they are so unbearable. I used to pray every night asking God to keep you safe and not to let any harm or danger come to you wherever you were. 

I don't have to say where ever you are any more I know where you are you are resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 
I love you and miss you so much I will never forget you and all the good times that we all had together. 

Remembering those big beautiful smiles on your face as you played with your grandchildren and your nephew for hours. They love you as much as we do and will miss you too.

It's hard to expect that you are gone. I love you Lanechia and I will always remember you. 
Our family that is there are happy to see you. Give them all a big hug and kiss for me.
