Linda P. Howe

Linda Price Howe 68. A 42 year resident of West Palm Beach, FL passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 6, 2011. Linda was born in Kannapolis, North Carolina on April 26, 1943. She married her high school sweetheart, Jim Home and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in September 2010. Linda retired from the state of Florida after 34 years as the area director for the Department of Revenue. After retiring she became actively involved with the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 144. Linda was loved by many but especially her granddaughters, Kirbi, Carly, and Kara who always referred to her as Maw Maw until they decided to dub her “Linda the Great”. Linda is survived by her husband, Jim Howe; daughters, Tammy Howe Vick and Angie Howe Purvis; grandchildren Kirbi Vick Reyes, Carly Cocuy, Kara Vick, Kadie Purvis, Kaleb Purvis, and Kris Purvis; siblings Shirley Frisbee, Dean Stowe, Bob Price, Cathy Price, and Steve Price. Linda was preceded in death by her brother Bill Price. Linda was a loving Wife, Mother, Maw Maw, Aunt Duck, and Friend. She lives on through organ donation and in the hearts of those who loved her.
