Margaret E. Corbitt

Mrs. Corbitt, age 90 of Lake Worth, Florida entered into eternal life on March 4, 2012 and has joined her late husband of 60 years, Jesse Corbitt, Sr., her late son, Tommy Corbitt and her late brother, Prather Chadwick, who have been waiting patiently for her in Heaven. Margaret began her life on July 5, 1921 in Annapolis, MD to her late mother, Emma (nee Duval) Chadwick and her late father, Prather Chadwick. Margaret moved to the Palm Beach County area in 1931 and has built her life around raising and caring for her family. Mrs. Corbitt also enjoyed participating in her grandchildren's lives by driving them to sporting events that they participated in and cheering them on. She in later years enjoyed playing BINGO at the Convalescent Home where she was staying. Margaret will be forever remembered for her gentle heart, loving spirit and giving ways! Margaret is survived by her seven children; Jesse Corbitt and wife, Shirley of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Charles Corbitt and wife, Pat of West Palm Beach, FL, Rene Corbitt and wife, Pat of West Palm Beach, FL, Robert Corbitt and wife, LaVerne of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Margaret A. Simons and husband, Bud of Lake Worth, FL, Nancy Burnett and husband, David of West Palm Beach, FL, and Linda Corbitt of Ft. Pierce, FL; twenty four grandchildren; forty two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service for Margaret Corbitt will be held 11AM, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the funeral home with Reverend Paul Arnold providing spiritual guidance.
