

Margot was born on June 17, 1951, in West Palm Beach to Lawrence and Lucille Quentin. She attended Catholic school in West Palm before going on to the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa, where she met her husband, Douglass Pereboom. They later returned to West Palm Beach, where she welcomed her son, Jeffrey Pereboom, in 1979. Margot and Douglass later divorced but remained dedicated parents to their son.
Margot was a devoted mother and a dedicated professional. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology, graduating cum laude from Florida Atlantic University in 1991. In 1994, she received her Associate of Science cum laude in Radiologic Science. For the next 17 years, she worked as a skilled X-ray technician and CAT Scan technologist, primarily at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, where she was admired for her dedication, compassion, and professionalism.
She will be remembered for her intelligence, sense of humor, quick wit, and deep love of dogs. Margot touched the lives of everyone she met with her warm spirit.
Margot is survived by her son, Jeffrey Pereboom. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lucille Quentin, and her siblings, Steve Quentin and Jeanne Fox.
Her love and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Margot’s life which will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 11:00am at Royal Palm Funeral Home, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407. A Committal Service will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens followed by food and refreshments in the Bimini Reception Room located at Royal Palm Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Services are entrusted to Royal Palm Funeral Home.
