Mary Ann Slater passed away on Sunday, June 27. She is survived by her husband of 49 years James Slater, Palm Beach Gardens, sister and brother-in-law LaVerne and Carl Abbott, Dallas, Georgia , brother-in-law Edward Slater and nieces and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, Nina and Joe Martin, brother Joseph Martin and many beloved aunts and uncles.
Mary Ann graduated from Athens High School in Athens, Class of 1958. She worked as a dental hygienist in Athens before working for the Billy Graham Crusade in Atlanta and then moving to West Palm Beach where she worked at Palm Beach First National Bank and then at Maranatha Church of God. The joy of her life was worshiping and serving Jesus and others. She was a loving wife, dear friend, and faithful prayer warrior.
Her services will be Wednesday, June 30 at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida. Visitation from 10:00 till 11:00, Service at 11:00. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery adjacent to the funeral home following the service.
