Memories 

Bro. Williams was one of the founders of our Third St. church of Christ congregation. As an early pioneer, he was instrumental in our church growth from renting the Urban League  to obtaining our current location @ 909 3rd Street, WPB.  Photo above includes Bro.,Williams and the other pioneers of 3rd St C.O.C. Family.  R.I.P. my dear brother in Christ. Love, Louvenia Howzell.

I have so many cherished memories of Bro. Williams. I remember when he would come over to my grandparent’s house and just sit & visit. He never missed an opportunity to have a conversation with me even when I was little. I always looked forward to seeing him in worship and enjoyed hearing him say “Now May the grace of God, the love of Jesus, and the sweet communion of the Holy Spirt, rest, rule and abide now henceforth and forevermore…let us all say Amen” as he helped close out services. Whenever I would visit West Palm from my travels in the military, I made sure that he was one of the people that I would see because he always reminded me of home. I have missed him dearly while being away and I miss him now. I am sad only because the conversations we would have now are delayed because I am not in Paradise with him right now…but one day…
