A proud United States Army Veteran, Pino was stationed in Kitzengen, Germany. For many years, Pino was an integral part of the family’s business, the Pan American Restaurant, known for the best Cuban food in town. He later had many jobs, including his own DJ business, SoundPower DJ, where he used his talents for many fundraising events.
Pino was an active member in the VFW, American Legion, Moose Lodge and Fraternal Order of Eagles. Through these organizations, he initiated many fundraisers for those in need as well as the Hospice and Special Olympics. He was known for steak dinners, burger nights and Cuban sandwiches.
Pino was one of those rare people who had the ability to immediately engage people; he never met a stranger and instantly made friends. He was a kind, gentle soul who loved life, his family and was excitedly looking forward to the birth of his granddaughter. Pino always had a smile on his face and loved to joke around.
Pino is survived by his wife, Karla (husband), his son Juan, daughter-in-love, Ashley, their children Gabby and Shawn, Sister, Teresita (Jason) and their children Ryann and Anthony, In laws Tami and Ken and their children Andrew (Mackenzie) and Erin and Brian (Courtney) along with many special friends and family members.
Burial will be private with a Celebration of Life to follow at a later date.
