Othmar F. Stieber

Othmar F. Stieber, age 79 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away February 13, 2012 at his Florida residence. Mr. Stieber was born on June 17, 1932 in Vienna, Austria to the late Mr. Alexander Stieber and the late Mrs. Wilhemina (nee Fischer) Stieber. Mr. Stieber began wintering in Florida in 1978 coming from Aurora, Ontario Canada. He was employed as a Property Manager for Rental Apartments for many years. Othmar was a very creative person and actually built in his driveway at his home in Canada a watercraft boat from a Scientific Journal that illustrated how to make a boat yourself. He loved to tinker with anything mechanical or otherwise that needed repairing. Othmar was known as the "Mr. Fix It" by family and friends. He also had many skills such as being a custom tailor/upholsterer/craftsman, etc. and he loved to fish in his earlier years, loved animals and was a naturalist at heart. Othmar leaves behind to eternally cherish his memory, three loving children, Diane Stieber of West Palm Beach, FL, Gary Stieber and wife, Katherine of Stuart, FL, and Karen Stieber of Orillia, Ontario Canada; his two adored grandchildren, Jensen & Kassidy Stieber both of Stuart, FL; one loved sister, Hilda Schwarz of Austria; his admired brother-in-law, Leo Armenta of Banning, CA; also he had several cousins and nieces and nephews in Austria and California and his loving In-Laws and close friends.
