Patricia Marie Powers age 83 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on October 2, 2013 at a local hospital. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, John Barker and her son, Robert Powers. She loved to quilt and also teach quilting to others, as well as participating in arts and crafts. Patricia also loved singing along with the radio crooners and loved all of God's creatures. She will be remembered for a kind and giving heart and selfless ways by her family and friends. Patricia will be forever remembered by her three children, Charles Powers and his wife, Barbara of Lake Worth, Florida, James Powers and John Barker both of West Palm Beach, Florida; three loved grandchildren, Robert Powers of Lauderdale by-the-Sea, Florida, Steven Powers and his wife, Natalie of Lake Worth, Florida, and Richard Denoncour of Lantana, Florida; and her two precious great grandchildren, Steven Powers and Sofia Powers both of Lake Worth, Florida. The family will have a Graveside Inurnment to occur at a later date on the grounds of Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33405, (561) 833-4061.
