Pius was born in St. Lucia, West Indies on September 3 1967, a son of the late Arthur Prospere and Catherine (Wells) Prospere.
Pius was interested on becoming an architect, but found his niche in cooking. Throughout his career Pius worked in the Food and Beverage industry as a Director and was an amazing and knowledgeable Chef. Pius was known for his generous heart and smile. He will be remembered as being funny, caring, crazy, and outgoing.
Pius's life is a wonderful example of how to live in the moment and to the fullest.- don't take anything too seriously and have fun!
Surviving Pius are his children; Jamal, Shanice, Xavier Prospere, his grandkids; J'Linah, Jaylin, and Kailah Rivera and J'Shawn Sonson, his mother; Catherine Prospere, his brothers; Brian and Curtis Prospere; his sisters Margealla Grant Prospere and Roselyn Prospere. Also surviving are several great nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life gathering for Pius will be held Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Embassy Suites By Hilton Boca Raton, 661 NW 53rd St., Boca Raton, FL 33487.
