Ralph had the most generous giving heart which stopped beating early Sunday due to complications from pneumonia. The devastating loss of him is felt most keenly by his wife of 26 years, Valerie Burdick Seifert; his former wife of 30 years, Jane Seifert; his son, Douglas Seifert (Emily); his stepdaughter, Lisa Bennett (Lauchlin); his beloved grandchildren, Lauch Bennett and Lauren Lorenzo (Arturo) and his great grandchildren, Bella, Nahuel, Alexia and Aria Lorenzo.
The dash between his birth and death was filled to the brim with brilliant ideas and projects (like ralphthinks.com), amazing demonstrations of generosity and a steady stream of random acts of kindness. His sense of humor was finely honed. He made everyone laugh out loud, and he did a mean crossword puzzle in ink as well as Sudoku. He is beloved by many, including his Burdick family, Patty Brick and Jay Dombrowski. A private gathering of family and friends will celebrate his life on Sunday, January 15 at 3:00 at Paulette and Gregory Burdick’s home.
