Ralph A Sullivan Jr.

Ralph Alexander Sullivan, Jr., 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 6, 2016. He was an adored father and granddaddy, who will be deeply missed. Born in Winston Salem, NC, Ralph was a WWII veteran, and a graduate of UNC at Chapel Hill. In 1950, he became a member of the First Baptist Church of WPB, where he met Evelyn, the love of his life. For 27 years, he was the country's top sales producer for Connecticut General Life Insurance Co. After retiring, he joined in business with his great friend, Charles Dorsey. In 1977, he became a lifelong trustee of Palm Beach Atlantic University. Ralph was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Evelyn, and is survived by his 4 daughters, Elizabeth Matrow Spencer (Tom), Suzanne Eaton (Craig), Marlene Garcia (Frank) and Donna Bradford (Bill), 10 grandchildren - Kendra and Taylor Matrow, Dr. Jana Von Hehn (Christian), Jennifer Reynolds (Mike), Melissa and Melanie Eaton, Brett and Brittany Bolling, Burns Bradford (Katie), Alexander Bradford and 4 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Palm Beach Atlantic University in honor of Ralph A. Sullivan Jr.The celebration of his life will be Sunday, July 10th at the De Santis Family Chapel, Palm Beach Atlantic University, 300 Okeechobee Blvd, WPB. Visitation from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with the service following at 2:00pm. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery 6411 Parker Avenue, WPB.
