

"Buster"
84, of Atlantis, Florida and Linville, N.C. passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 at Hospice of Palm Beach County. Born on December 4, 1927 in Stuart, FL, he was a lifelong resident of West Palm Beach and the son of Robert and Hazel Logsdon.
He was a 1945 graduate of Palm Beach High School and attended Stetson University and Purdue University. He served our country in the Merchant Marines, U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.
As a Plumbing Contractor, he owned "A Bath and Kitchen Shop" in West Palm Beach until retirement. He was also an Apprenticeship Instructor for the Local Plumbing Union 630 for 25 years. Throughout his lifetime he served his community through various organizations such as The Rotary Club of West Palm Beach, Junto and voluntary service to City and County boards. His greatest joy in life came from fishing and camping trips with his family.
His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 61 years, Margie; children: Linda Logsdon, Robert (Debbie) Logsdon, Jr., Hartley (Shannon) Logsdon, Kevin (Diane) Logsdon and Margie (Richard) Illsley; grandchildren: Wesley (Sara), Reed Logsdon; Hartley Jr., Hannah and Shelby Logsdon; Karen, Katie and Lily Logsdon; Ricky and Jessa Illsley; and great grandchild Ava Logsdon. He is also survived by his brother Richard (Dorothy) Logsdon of Jonas Ridge, N.C. He was predeceased by his son Stephen W. Logsdon, Robert's two brothers and one sister. He had numerous nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, there will be a private graveside service.
