I’m sorry for your loss. I will always remember Rolando as the smart, funny, strong, kind person, especially his talent for reciting poems. He was loved and cared by his lovely daughters. It’s a comfort to know he is in Heaven.

Mr. Guardado was an awesome man of God with love and character which flowed down to his three awesome daughters. It was an honor knowing him, with the few conversations we had, translated by his daughters, I realized what an awesome man he was. I true mans man who loved his daughter very much. 
     I had the privilege of knowing all three of his strong Christian daughters. I had the pleasure of dating Dania, which was one of the best chapters of my life. Dania is a beautiful woman of God which in turn brought me closer to God as well. Dania has the biggest heart and was a true woman of God, I thank her for every wonderful moment we had! The youngest daughter Dailis is a terrific wife to Rolando and the best mother to their three awesome children Gabriella, Esteban and Alejandro. Dailis is the best mother of God to her three children and husband, which was an example to all moms on how to rise a strong Christian family. Damaris, what can I say about Mr. Guardado's oldest daughter, well everything! She is the most independent, totally awesome woman I know. Damaris's love for God was just an much verbal as it was materialized. She showed God's love through things she said to people and did for people! She is the most generous woman I know! If Damaris had only 5 dollars to her name she would give 4 dollars away if she felt that person needed it more. Damaris, you are like a true sister, thank you for being you!
     Please Lord let Mr. Guardado know how grateful I am to have  known him and his awesome family. I love this family and pray God keeps his hand over them! Mr. Guardado's character shined through his three awesome daughters, although he didn't have a son, he was a manly man. The character of a strong man is not only how they raise their sons but even more on how he raises and protects his daughters. God bless you Mr. Guardado and may you rest in peace knowing your daughters are in good hands, God's hands.

Thank you for sharing your Dad’s lovely story. He must have been a terrific Dad to have raised a daughter like you.. I do so appreciate the fact you shared with me of his devotion to your Mom and how he took care of her toward the end of her life. I’m sure he will be sorely missed by you and your sister. Did he have a favorite charity I could donate to? I’m so sorry for your loss of your beloved father. May God bless his soul and receive him in his arms and life everlasting

Mom and Dad, I’m so glad you are together again.

Dad, I am blessed beyond comprehension to have had a father like you. This morning, as I slipped my feet into your shoes to shine them one last time, I couldn’t help but think—oh man, I will never be able to fill these shoes.

For a third of my life, you were both father and mother, caring for Mom through her Alzheimer’s with patience and devotion. You cooked my favorite dishes, never missed calling me on my birthday, and showed me—every single day—what commitment, self-sacrifice, and unrelenting love truly look like.

You lived with ankylosing spondylitis since your forties, enduring pain as your spine slowly fused together. You wore your colostomy bag without complaint, carried yourself with grace, and still managed to make us laugh almost every day. You loved poetry and science, and I used to roll my eyes because a simple question meant a long, thoughtful answer—after you’d researched it thoroughly, of course.

You even helped me through organic chemistry when I couldn’t stand to see another carbon chain, and you patiently taught me how to find square roots the long way. You were my rock, my protector, my constant. You loved me exactly as I am.

There’s a part of me that wishes I could still hear you praying out loud, calling out for loved ones long gone, or asking for help as dementia took hold—but I know that would be selfish of me. You gave so much already. You’ve earned your peace.

Now, I take comfort knowing you are in heaven, reunited with your one and only sweetheart. You are no longer bound by fused vertebrae, and your mind is clear and bright again. I imagine you moving freely—graceful, strong, and young once more.

For the 3 sisters. I have watched you love and care for the “oldies” in your family with so much compassion and commitment to them Always being taken care of and spending so much time with them. I think you gave back what you learned from them throughout your lives. I see you pass this on to your children, grandchildren, niece and nephews and your wide and deep family and friends. It is beautiful to watch and I am sorry for your loss and know that you will grieve and feel the absence always. You have each other and such wonderful memories. I am a better and stronger person for being a part of your lives. Thank you for being so willing to share your family. May he rest in peace.

To my dear friend senor  Guardado'. Heaven has gained a strong soldier. Even though I will miss you greatly,  it gives my heart joy knowing that you're able to walk with the Angels now.  Sleep well with Jesus my dear friend till we all meet again at Jesus feet 🙏🤲🤲🙏
