Age 83, of Lantana, departed this life with her daughters by her side on January 17, 2023. She was born August 25, 1939 in Huntington, WV to Clayton H. Inscoe and Lillian G. Armstrong. She married Keith E. Blake in October 1956 and they were married for 39 years before his passing. She was a resident of Lantana, FL for over 50 years.
Shirley dedicated her life to taking care of others and was known for her kind heart and generous spirit. She will be truly missed by all of us who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Timothy K. Blake; grandson, Kyle B. Atchison; and four siblings, Clayton, Raymond, James and Jennie Bell Valentine.
She leaves behind her family who will forever cherish her memory: her five daughters, Vickie Reisdorf of Lake Worth, FL, Lisa (Ray) Taylor of West Palm Beach, FL, Connie (Jim) Atchison of Micanopy, FL, Sam Welbanke and Candy (Tom) Messier of Lantana, FL; one brother, Robert of Huntington, WV; 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
