She was a colleague of mine and a good friend. We lost touch a few years ago as I moved away from the area and I am so sad to hear of her passing. A tough charming salt of the earth lady with a real ability to listen to what people were saying and desired. 

I will miss her.

Misses Bridges was a second mother to me as a child while in Beabonsfield.  I have fond memories of her sweetness. May she rest in peace.

Hello all Dale´s family.
So sorry to hear about your Mum¨s passing.  She was so with it right up until the end... my Mum had tea with her that very afternoon.  We can reflect on how involved she was in the community, and only hope to be so well connected when we get to that age.  Many will miss her.

Missus B,. my second mother or 30 years, friend and yes toe ring sister, (remember Bali!),

This is my second attempt at "going" public, something I do not do often. I wish all the Bridges and expanded family my deepest sympany. I will draw strenght on the many memories of my time spent together, starting my babysitting of your cats in the 80's, (or not), the many family events, in particualr our trip to Bali and the last 15 years of my annual January Vancouver "forecast" visits with  Russ, Cauleen and John Reid. We shared our many views on diverse topics over the famous "marts", always to finish the evening with a rendition of "What a Swell party, What a Swell party, it was"...Thank you for the memories Missus B., (I can hear you now, Call me DALE!) I couldn't do it then,  I sure can't do it now, Missus B.!

I have known your Mother for a number of years, first through Nancy and Mac Brodie and later from walking the Sea Wall and meeting at Park Royal.
Dale was always a delight to speak to, in fact we shared a cup of tea and carrotcake on Sept 6th in the afternoon, whilst she gave me my tickets for a new adventure.
I will miss chatting with her.

Its been years since we were neighbours and I have connected with the Bridges family. Now with facebook, we are finally connecting. Nancy had been meeting with Cauleen and your mom and bringing me the family news as well. It was great! I know how hard it is to lose a parent and I pray that you use this opportunity to celebrate your mom`s life. She was an amazing woman.

We had many happy times living next door to each other in Beaconsfield when you kids were young.I enjoyed reconnecting with Dale and Cauleen when I visited Nancy in Vancouver the last several years. We had some great lunches talking and laughing about the old days. Your mom will be sadly missed by all of us and you have my deepest sympathies. love to you all.   Jane

I can't believe we have lost our loving friend Dale.  She was always so full of life, laughter and a healthy amount common sense and humour.  She was so fortunate in this life to have such an incredible family and she knew it.  Our thoughts go out to all of you right now.  Without Dale happy hour will never be the same.

Our hearts go out to your family, you have our deepest sympathies. Some of my earliest childhood memories are of hanging out at the Bridges with Cauleen. Your Mom was always there to feed us and keep us out of trouble. These last few years it has been great to reconnect with Dale, have lunch with the two 
Moms and laugh at all our young antics .Your mom had a zest for life that was infectious. I am glad we got the chance to sneak in a 
few dog walks with Jaya down at Ambleside.Dale will be greatly 
missed.

Dear Lianne,Tiffany,Cauleen, Dwight and Bruce,

The news of your dear Mom's passing must have been a great shock to you, as it was to me. I had just received an Email with birthday wishes from her on Aug. 30th. We always remembered each other on our August birthdays. She sounded upbeat as usual, saying that she was busy with political work and travel arrangements. So, sad as we may be, we can take comfort knowing she was active until her last moments and that's just as she would have wanted.
I shall cherish my memories of many wonderful times with her and your Dad. She was a great gal and a special friend.
My sincere sympathy to all five of you at this difficult time. I hope I will have an opportunity to share reminiscences with you in the near future.

Dear Mrs. Bridges,
You will always be remembered in my heart as the Mom of my best friend, who welcomed me into the family over 35 years ago.  From numerous sleepovers, to weekends at La Reserve, and even a memorable trip to Stowe with the family, you always made me feel like I belonged.  Your warmth, kindness, gentle humour and unconditional love, will never be forgotten.  While you are reuniting with Mr. Bridges, if you see O'Malley and Jaws, please give them all a hug for me.
