Mr. Brian Henry Warren

Born in Rushden, Northamptonshire, England; his working career as an Insurance Marketer with the Royal Insurance Company in Manchester, led to Montreal, Toronto and finally Vancouver. In 1969, he joined Shaw & Begg, and on to Macaulay Nicholls Maitland Insurance for a number of years until other opportunities came along.

Brian was a keen gardener. He completed his Diploma in Horticulture from the University of Guelph (independent study in 1991). For years his passions were skiing, golf, badminton and of course his beautiful Rose Garden.

We want to express our deep appreciation for the wonderful care during the past few weeks, both in Lions Gate Hospital, The Palliative Care Ward, and finally North Shore Hospice. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers for their warmth and comfort.

There will be a “Time of Remembering” at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 29th, at Highlands United Church, 3255 Edgemont Blvd, North Vancouver.
