Carole Francis Hillier (Higgins) passed away peacefully in North Vancouver BC on March 15, 2026. Predeceased by her husband Ronald. Survived by her sons David and Steven (Anne), grandchildren Taylor, Trevor and Jaine.
In our earlier years, mom was our biggest cheerleader on and off the field. She spent many hours driving us all over the Lower Mainland to lacrosse and soccer practices and games.
Carole was especially fond of celebrating the holidays and entertaining friends and relatives. The holidays were always a highlight in her life as well as ours. Carole loved spending time in her beautiful garden, chatting with the neighbours, shopping and a good glass of wine. She was especially fond of spending time with Sylvia and her family. We will miss most, mom’s enthusiasm for life and her ability to make you feel like you were the most important person in the room. Love you Mom.
