Chester passed away peacefully at Lions Gate Hospital at the age of 93. Chester was born and raised in Montreal and attended McGill University where he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce. Following that he served overseas in World War 2. He was a highly respected Veteran. Following the War he moved to Vancouver where he married and raised his family. He is survived by his loving daughter Jeannie Thomson (Wood), granddaughter Paula, grandson Jeffrey, great granddaughter Olivia, and great grandson Hudson. He is also survived by his brother Everett Wood who resides in Montreal plus many nephews and friends. Chester was a man of great insight and a great sense of humour. He was an avid lover of sports and enjoyed his game of golf. He was a member of Seymour Golf Course for 60 years. The family would like to thank the nurses and Doctors on 2 East at Lions Gate Hospital for the kindness and caring that they gave Chester. He will be greatly missed by everybody, but never forgotten.
