January 2, 1923 ~ June 27, 2011
Born and raised in North Vancouver, passed away peacefully at Lions Gate Hospital
after a brief illness following a stroke. He was active and happy till the last few weeks
of his life.
Jack served in the navy in the North Atlantic during WWII and worked in Burrard
Shipyard in North Vancouver until he retired.
Lovingly remembered by Velma, his wife of 61 years; his sons Bruce (Betty Lou), John (Cecile).
Grandchildren Michael (Lindsay), Sarah and Darren. Survived by brothers George (Lucy), Lloyd
(Lynn) and Len. Jack appreciated everyone’s support during his time in the hospital.
