Miss Madelynne Melvin Liebenberg

Taken from us suddenly, our hearts are forever broken by the tragic loss of Madelynne Melvin Liebenberg on Saturday, July 25, 2015. Maddy was loved by so many people: her mother Wendy Melvin, her father William Liebenberg, her nana Charonne Sinclaire, her Liebenberg sisters Robynne (Rob), Tamryn (Devynn), Kirsten (Travis), Jessica (Nick) and their mother Heather (Mike), her uncle "grandpa" Rick Melvin, auntie Ruth Melvin, and all of her other aunts, uncles, special cousins, and her forever best friend, Rosa. Maddy was predeceased by her grandpa David Melvin and her great-grandma Mildred Lieffers. Maddy lived an extraordinarily happy and full life in her short years with us, having experienced many things that others only dream about. She loved her trips to Mexico with her parents, their recent trip to Disneyland, and spending summers at Whistler and Gambier. Maddy lived fiercely. We saw this most in the way that she loved us and in her dancing. Some of her favourite things were playing on the monkey bars, creating art, eating candy, bike riding, and loving all animals. She brought immeasurable joy to all around her, especially to her mother, whose heart is irreparably broken and whose life is forever altered. Maddy's passing is a reminder for us all that life is precious and that love is forever. A service to honour Maddy's life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Unity Church at 5840 Oak Street in Vancouver, BC. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to the BC Children's Hospital.
