Mary, 91 years, passed away suddenly and
peacefully on October 17, 2017 at Lions Gate
Hospital. She was predeceased by her
parents Hans and Pauline Christoffersen,
originally from Norway, and her brothers
Andy and Bill of Alberta. She will be lovingly
remembered by her husband, Roy, her son,
Eric, her many nieces and nephews, and her
extended family and friends. May was
devoted to her family and close friends. Her
e x t r a o r d i n a r y t a l e n t s i n c o o k i n g ,
entertaining, gardening, needlepoint,
fashion, new technology, love of dogs and
cats, and reading - to mention just a few - will
always be an inspiration to those who were
close to her. She volunteered for a number of
organizations including the Vancouver
Aquarium, and was an active participant in
several community groups. All who knew her
will miss her deeply. A private service will be
held for immediate family and friends. If
