An accomplished, skier, tennis player, part time golfer and sailor, and an amazing artist. She tackled the Sudan Couloir at Whistler age 70.
From Montreal to Bermuda, she had lifelong friendships while also adding new friends from all ages.
Having gone through a tragic early death of Husband Alex she doubled down and joined a homemade boat to sail the Atlantic, she was never afraid of doing something new and courageous.
A loving grandmother to eight fantastic grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, she was never shy to offer up advice and instill some wisdom in the next generation.
She was a force to be reckoned with and we all had to keep up as she wasn’t going to slow down for anyone.
We have all assumed some traits from Nancy that we keep close to our heart and will pass on to our children while telling them that she was an amazing person and we are very proud to be her children. She was a true matriarch and chose to live her life the way she wanted, even her death. We will miss her greatly and know that she lives on in our hearts.
For those wishing to share a memory of Nancy can upload a photo and include a message for the family.
