Stuart (Czerech) Hamilton passed into his new world on January 10th, 2026, at the age of 83, after a nine-month battle with cancer. His immediate family includes his sister, Patricia Ray; her husband, John Ray; nephew, Caleb Gough; great-nephew, Mason Gough; nieces, Nicole Ray and Rachel Fordham (and her husband, Tyler); and great-nephew, ‘Tiger’ Levi Fordham. He is also survived by cousins Maureen, Kate, and Stevie.
Stuart carried the love of his family and the many wonderful friends along the path of his life. He possessed a generous nature that expressed warmth towards the people he encountered along the way. He enjoyed returning to his homeland (England) each year, visiting lifelong friends and family, as well as his annual road trips to and around the United States. He was an adventurer, an avid reader, and a wealth of knowledge on about any subject you chose to throw at him. He loved all things aeronautical, biking, and old Western movies. His friends and family will miss his hand-painted Christmas cards each year, some quite seasonal but often with a sense of humor.
Stuart’s supporting cast includes the residents of The Crescent, West Vancouver. Cornwall and Pembroke. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
