

Tom is survived and loving remembered by his wife Irene, sons Paul, Robert (Victoria), David (Karen) and daughter Sandra (Jeff); grandchildren Colin, Sarah, Genna and Alex. His Sister Pat (UK) and Brother Peter (Edmonton).
Tom is also survived by his extended family, Diane (Rob), Christine (Michael) and Ian (Lena); grandchildren Carl, Derinda, Carolyn, Erin and Graham.
Tom (Eric) was born in Woolwich, England. During WW11 he served in the Royal Navy.
September 1969 he immigrated to Canada and settled in Edmonton, several years later he relocated to Vancouver.
Tom was employed by Royal Doulton Canada from October 1973 retiring November 1991.
Tom was passionate about gardening and the sea and never past up an opportunity to work in his garden or sail the open seas.
He had a great sense of humour, and the ability to make people laugh.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held January 15 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Frances in the Wood, Anglican Church, 4773 South Piccadilly Road, West Vancouver.
To-day I set sail to the open sea beyond the horizon
Where I planned to be and where sun rays warm me
And darkness not find me that is where I am
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
