(January 11, 1931 – October 3, 2014)
Passed away peacefully after too long a torment from Alzheimer's.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Douglas, her children David and Michael (Jennifer), granddaughter Laurel, sisters Dawna Armstrong (Dick) and Diana Young, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Charles & LaVina Duncan, and her older brother Don.
Yvonne was many things to many people – wife, mother, sister and friend – but her passion in life was caring for others. She practiced medicine for over 40 years and “Dr. Duncan” will be remembered dearly by her patients and colleagues, especially those on the North Shore where she had her own family practice for 20 years.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Stephens Anglican Church, 885 22nd St. West Vancouver on Tuesday October 21, 2014 at 11 a.m.
