Amy M. Luchsinger

She was born on a houseboat in Ponchatoula, LA and her family traveled extensively making their living hunting and fishing. She was a banquet coordinator for the Sioux City Iowa Convention Center and the Marina Inn in South Sioux City Nebraska. She was a member of the order of the Eastern Star and traveled extensively with her husband through the Shrine.

She was preceded in death by her son, Milton Fred Luchsinger; her parents, Rudolph and Mary Vining; her brother, Milton Vining; her son-in-law, Toas Warnstadt.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, C. Fred Luchsinger of Westlake; daughter, Linda Gayle Warnstadt of Spokane, WA; brother, Woodzy Vining and wife, Ava Lee of Baton Rouge; sister, Verna Crappell of Berwick, LA; grandchildren, Jina, Tami, Trisha and Tara; 9 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2pm, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Visitation will begin Wednesday at 12noon until service time.
