Claude Ray Doran

He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana February 8, 1955 to parents Steven & Violet Doran.

After graduating from Westlake High School, class of 1973, he became a union pipefitter. Ray went onto traveling as a instrument tech. Ray loved to party and made sure you were having the time of your life. He was always ready and willing to go on an adventure.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Steven Doran & Violet Hoover Doran, sister, Ann Doran, a brother, Randy Doran, and son-in-law, Jarrod Roy

Those left to cherish his memory, include his daughter, Monica Nicole Doran, and son, Joshua Jean Doran and wife Laurie, three grandchildren; Jada & Kamie Olivier, and Daxton McGee, one great-grandson Kingston Hayes, as well as multiple additional children & grandchildren.

Ray is also survived by his siblings; Steve Doran, Jeni Pharris and husband Alvie, Wayne Doran and wife Vickie, Deborah Kay Richard and husband Craig, Joe Doran and wife Debbie, and Tina Whatley and husband Kenny

The family will welcome the public for visitation at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 11am until 9pm. Visitation will resume the following day Monday, November 27, 2023 from 9am until funeral service at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery.
