She was a native of Welsh, LA and a resident of DeQuincy. Colleen was a graduate of Lake Charles High School and McNeese State University.
Survivors include her father, Richard Trahan and his wife Donnis of Westlake; brothers, David Trahan and Chris of Lake Charles and Rich Trahan of Westlake; sisters, Donna Bodin of Dallas, TX, Marjorie Cormier and Billy and Lisa Smith all of Lake Charles; nieces, Kristy Ferguson and Shaun and Brittany Smith; and nephew, Brandon Smith; She is also survived by several grandnieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Bourgeois Trahan.
Visitation will be Friday, December 18, 2015 from 5 to 8 pm and will resume at 9 am on Saturday morning until time of service at Hixson Funeral home in Westlake. Services will be at 10:00 am.
