He was a lifelong resident of Westlake, Louisiana and worked many years as an Operator for Axiall-North. He enjoyed training race horses, hunting, fishing and spending time with family. He was anxiously anticipating the arrival of his first grandson; Landry Scott Meche.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years of marriage; Penny Ward of Westlake, one son; Robert Ward of Westlake, one daughter; Sarah Meche and husband Scott of Moss Bluff, one brother Ricky Ward and wife Judy of Westlake and many distant relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, August 03, 2015 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake.
