Evelyn Marie Friesner Milburn

She was a native of Westlake and a member of First Baptist Church of Westlake. She worked for Levingston Title Co., Clerk of Court's Office, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, serving under former Sheriff's, Ham Reid, Jr., Wayne McElveen and Beth Lundy. She retired after 25 years of service. She enjoyed sewing, yard work, walking and especially spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Derek Milburn (Tomorro) of Moss Bluff; Joe Milburn (Debra) of Gillis; brother, Alvin Ray Friesner; sister, Mildred Mere; grandchildren, Sara Buller, Tyler Milburn, Zeth Milburn, Reese Milburn, Teal Ray Milburn, Casey Buller, Robert Buller and Kirby Buller; great grandchildren, Aleia Marie Milburn and Klara Lynn Buller. She is preceded in death by husband of 44 years, Arthur Ray Milburn; parents, Oland A. and Georgia Schwarzer Friesner; sisters, Dorothy Conrad, Ollie Mae Hicks; brothers, "Bud" Friesner and Dan Friesner.

Her service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 16, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Rev. Marvin Durgan will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume Monday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery.
