Florence Marie Dickey

She was very independent. She loved the Lord, her family, traveling and gardening. She was a private caregiver. Florence was a member of New Life Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Bobby Gale Dickey and wife Carol of Houston, TX; Jay W. Dickey and wife Ginger of Katy, TX; daughters, Carolyn Travis and husband Bruce of Greenwood, SC; Robbie Meredith and husband Wendell of Columbia, AL; sisters, Darlene Lee, Dean Bain and Lucille Hesher all of Hereford, TX; grandchildren, Melissa Castonguay (Steve), Deborah Harrison, Angel Beckham, Jeremy Dickey (Sara), Sasha Dickey, April Dickey (Omar), Tiffany Hall (Deone), Danielle Jordan, Crystal Smith (Curtis), Nathan Meredith, Michael Trahan, Joshua Meredith (Heather) and Talisa Long (CJ); great grandchildren, Travis Salter, Matthew Salter, Steven Castonguay, Chase Harrison, Tyler Harrison, Cassidy Travis, Jada Travis, Lilly Dickey, Jeremiah Dickey, Baylee Thomas, Braydon Thomas, Brenton Spell, Jayda Hall, Brisa Castillo, Savion Hall, Cheyenne Jordan, Bryce Jordan, Oziah Castillo, Isaiah Ottavio, EmmaLee Ottavio, AnnaBella Smith, Gage Smith, Carlee Meredith, DeLaney Meredith, Harley Trahan, Jada Trahan, Addrianna Trahan and Trevor Meredith; honorary great grandchild, Lindsay Ferqueron; honorary great great grandchild, Bentley Ferqueron. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Dickey, parents, John and Sybil Frost, brothers, Jackie Gale Frost and Bobby Frost.

Her service will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until time of service. Burial will be at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
