Guynell Penton

She was a longtime resident of Westlake. She was a member of Bellview Baptist church, worked as a cashier for Broussards and Marcantels in Westlake for 25 years. She graduated as valedictorian of her high school class. She was known as the Coffee Lady at the Senior Center in Westlake. She was known by her church friends for her sweet hugs. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her son, Perry Wayne Penton of Smyrna, GA; daughter, Carolyn Lovett and husband Donald of Westlake, LA; 4 grandchildren, Mike Lovett and wife Lisa, Rhonda Richard and husband Troy, Claire Bacon and husband Bob, Katie Penton; 5 great grandchildren, Paige Lovett, Ryan Thomason, Reagan Richard, Kaitlyn Lovett and Summer Richard.

Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake. Rev. Jason Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.
