Ina is a native of Creole, lived most of her life in Dequincy before moving to Westlake.
She survived by her sister, Winnie Jean LeBlanc; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Gayle Johnson; three brothers, Walter Venable, Joe Venable and Adam Venable; two sisters, Lucille Young and Ruby Bunch.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake on Monday, April 18, 2022 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. until the procession leaves for the church at 9:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at St. John Bosco Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be immediately following at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.
