He worked as a land surveyor and construction engineer for 40+ years. He has been retired for the last 30 years. Ira and Betty were long-time active members of Bellview Baptist Church in Westlake.
Survivors include their children Ricky, Brenda, Diana, and Rodney, 17 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 10am. The funeral service will be held at 11am at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake.
