

Jimmy was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served in World War II. He retired from Olin Mathesin Chemical Plant. He loved to fish and loved his grandchildren immensely.
Visitation will commence at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The visitation will continue on Monday, March 2, 2015 at the funeral home from 8:00 am until service time at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.
Jimmy is survived by three daughters; Cathy Hicks, Janis Singer, and Vicki Parker, grandchildren; Amanda P. Moffett (Shaun), Jeremy Parker (Nicole), and Ian Singer (Melissa), Great-grandchildren; Hayden and Maddox Singer, Dakota and Adelyn Parker, and Brecklynn Moffett. Brothers; Warren, Jack, Richard, and Douglas Hicks.
Preceded in death by his wife of 64 years; Ola Mae Hicks, parents; Norman Fredrick Hicks and Ina Hollander Hicks, and four siblings; Sis, Becky, Tiny, and N.F.
