Nelson was raised in Westlake, La and lived there most of his life. He worked for La-Tex Rubber Specialties for the past 31 years and was very dedicated to his work and was a favorite to many, if not all.
He was married to his beautiful wife for 36 years. During this time, they raised 2 outstanding children. He spoiled anyone he got close to especially his grandchildren. Nelson loved fishing, working around the house, but most of all loved being around his family, which he loved and adored with all of his heart and soul. He had an incredible sense of humor and was the kindest person once you got to know him.
Nelson is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Ricky Robertson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Patricia Robertson; son, Timothy Robertson of Moss Bluff LA; daughter, Stacie Robertson of Moss Bluff LA; brothers, Calvin Robertson and wife Dianna of Toledo Bend, LA, Ronnie Robertson and wife Sherry of Westlake, LA; sisters, Patricia Chilson and husband Jerry of Moss Bluff, LA, Anita Abbott of Westlake, LA; three grandchildren, Kelsie Clement, Easton Schiro, and Raegan Miller.
Visitation Will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake on May 5, 2021 from the hours of 4pm-8pm. Visitation will resume on Thursday May 6, from 12pm until time of service. A Celebration of life service will be held at 3pm with Jody Barilleaux officiating. Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Park.
