Joyce Edwards Fruge

Joyce Edwards Fruge, age 78, of Westlake, Louisiana passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 surrounded by her family. Joyce was born April 14, 1944 in Brisbane, Australia and was a lifelong resident of Westlake, La. She formerly attended Westlake High School and was a member of the Baptist faith. Joyce was a Homemaker and enjoyed gardening, shopping, visiting casino's and spoiling her children and grandchildren. Joyce is preceded in death by her Parents, Elbert and Elsie Selph, Son, Frank Edwards, and a Brother, Benjamin "Benny" Selph. She is survived by her Husband of 34 Years, Jason Fruge of Westlake, La., Son, Jimmy "Jimbo" Edwards Jr. of Sulphur, La., Daughter, Vickie Ross and Husband Russell of Westlake, La., Step Sons, Randy Edwards and wife Susie and Bradley Edwards, Step Daughters, Phyllis Edwards and Jackie Speeg and husband Michael, Brother, Gary Selph and wife Bridget of Hoschton, Ga., 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Granddaughters. The family will receive friends on September 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM Friday with a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in Westlake, La. officiated by Rev. Jaceson Johnson.
