Linda was born in Lake Charles, LA , and lived most of her life in Westlake. She retired from the US Post Office in Westlake and went on to own Pearson’s Bail Bonds, start a restaurant, and work for many years as a notary before moving to Deridder in 2013.
She is preceded in death by her parents Wilburn E. and Ruth Waters Maddox, as well as spouses Johnson Pearson and Lonnie Wilson.
Linda is survived by her husband; Kenneth M. Crumpler, her children; Christi Pearson Crane and husband Anthony Crane, Cheryl Pearson Strickland, Thomas Paul Pearson and wife Carla Skinner Pearson, and Jonathan David Pearson and wife Rana Widcamp Pearson. her siblings; Wilburn Lawson Maddox, and Wanda Maddox Daugherty, as well as 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
The family we welcome the public for a visitation at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake on Wednesday April 6, 2022 from 10am until 12pm. A celebration of Linda’s life led by pastor Joel Daugherty will begin at 12pm. Burial will Follow at Westlake Memorial Park.
Kenneth and the rest of the family would like to express their appreciation for all who knew Linda and loved her during her life. She truly loved you all and was blessed by your presence throughout her life.
