Lucy Mae Thibodeaux, 91, of Westlake, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born to her late parents, Lezemmn and Evelyn Lejeune on December 10, 1927 in Elton, LA. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Westlake for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her dog Dolly and loved being with her grandchildren. Lucy was totally devoted to her family, and that was her life.
She is survived by her three daughters, Ruby Guillory and husband David of Lake Charles, Jackline Thibodeaux Cole of Westlake, Ann Sherline Wise and husband Ed of Lake Charles; 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Lucy is preceded in death by her husband of 55 plus years, LeRoy Thibodeaux; one son, Don Walker Thibodeaux; one brother, Herman James Lejeune; and one sister, Millie Emma Langley.
Services will be held at 2:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake on Friday, November 15, 2019 with Bro. Ronnie Estes officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, from 12:00pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Cemetery.
