Margie Ferguson

Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Jack Ferguson of Westlake; sons, Tom Ferguson and daughter-in-law Bridget of Aubrey, TX and Jerry Ferguson of Westlake; daughter, Deb Felts and husband Patrick of Fleming Island, FL; brother, Jack Hollowell of Oxford, MS; sisters, Frances Poorbaugh of Hendersonville, NC, Anna Beth McNeely of Oxford, MS and Nell Wilson of Nesbit, MS; grandchildren, Nathan, Erin, Kristen and Matthew; great grandchildren, Dylan, Kara, Breeanna, Riley, Cayden, J.D., Faith, Jeremiah and Noah.

Margie was born in Paris, Mississippi and was a resident of Westlake. She loved spending time with and cooking for her family. She was a member of Westlake United Methodist Church and worked at the Westlake Library for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed doing crafts, painting, bird watching and gardening.

Her funeral will be at 2p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Westlake United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is from 5p.m. to 8p.m. Friday at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Westlake United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
