Paul J. Fontenot

He was born June 26, 1939 in Westlake to John and Mary Fontenot. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ross Wayne Fontenot and three brothers, Jimmy Tommy and Roy.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 50 years Lynn Fontenot of Longville, two daughters, Paula Pickles of Longville and Joyce Cooper of Rosepine, four brothers, John L Fontenot of Westlake, Rodney Fontenot of DeQuincy, David Fontenot of Sulphur and Marcus Fontenot of Sidney, TX, three sisters Janice Foster of Sidney, TX, Brenda Ray of Phillipsburg, MO and Velvet Fontenot of Orange, TX, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and lifelong friend, army buddy and brother at heart, Ray Owens and his wife Debbie Owens and family.

Paul served in the U.S. Army for three years and worked as a Heavy Equipment operator with Local Union #406 before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, outdoor life in general, camping and horses.
