He was born in Evansville, Indiana, the son of the late Vinson and Helen (nee Rhoda) Millet. He is the beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Soukup); loving father of Edward (Michelle Woolery), Tracey Cain and Sean (Haley King); cherished grandfather of many; dear brother of Delores (Henry, deceased) Schaefer and the late Elizabeth (Clair) Bennett; adored uncle of many.
Darrell was honorably discharged from the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam War and Cuban Missile Crisis. He retired from the Berea School District following 25 plus years of dedicated service. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 11AM - 1PM with a funeral service at 1PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 23040 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake, Ohio 44145. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Westlake.
