Eugenia "Jean" Wilhelm Kerr

EUGENIA "Jean" KERR, (nee Wilhelm),) 87, passed away on November 30, 2014. She was the much loved mother of Lynn Kerr Schwarz, Walter Kerr (Ann), William Kerr (Deborah) and beloved grandmother of Eric Schwarz (Wendy), Cristine Torek (Michael), Lara Parks and Brynn Doudrick (Eric). Jean will be greatly missed by her eleven great-grandchildren Bryan, Corinne, Christopher, Rachael, Abby, Jackson, Michael, Carson, Emmet, Wyatt and Henry. A graduate of Beaumont High School, she attended Ohio University where she met and married USAF Pilot Harold Kerr. The family lived in airbases in Spain, Japan and all over this country. Eventually returning to Ohio, Jean worked at Champion Personnel as one of Ohio's first Certified Employment Counselors. She loved sewing, gardening and especially being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her son, Walter, her husband, Harold, and her second husband, Eugene Gurda. Friends and family will gather in her memory on Thursday, December 4 between 5-9PM at Behind the Woods, 21919 Center Ridge Road in Rocky River, Ohio.
