I would like to share the letter I wrote to Paul with you - Paul and Jim were friends for over 20 years. 

Jimmy was certainly special.

When you lose someone close to you it hurts.

You will always hurt, because you loved Jimmy and he loved you back  without question or promise of any reward at all – because you had a special bond with each other and that 
was always enough for you both.  To have felt as though you were brothers, that is what you had with each other – a true gift.

You will always have the love in your heart for Jimmy.  He was a special and great friend to you for many years.  I know that you will miss him, but I know his spirit will always be with you.

Take comfort in knowing that he loved you too and as a tribute to Jimmy, 
hold him in your heart with a smile every day.  Jimmy wouldn't want you to be sad.  

Remember the good, happy, funny times you shared.  You will meet again with 
great joy and when that day comes there will be no sadness, just love.

I will be talking to Jimmy especially on game days – I know he'll be waiting to hear from you too.

Jimmy will be greatly missed by many.

jimmy was a great dad and granddad, not to mention a genuine man!!!! i work closely with his daughter maria who is a wonderful teammate, and know all of her children, (James, Leia, and Niko). i also know  his wife (Janet), ex-wife (Leah) ,son (Micheal) and many others of  who always spoke affectionately of jimmy... always smiles about his impact on their lives and his desire to help those around him!!! knowing jimmy as i did... i wish him a fruitful beyond and know that we will cross paths again somewhere somehow... love you jimmy!!! love you coutris family!!! see ALL of you soon!!!      on a side note, my last dogs name was jameson and i also refer to him as jimmy dog... may jimmy dog greet jimmy at the rainbow bridge with kisses and a little play time to ease their passing before jimmy passes to his next whatever he believes... see u sometime... ptr p.s. stay jimmy dog... i will be around sometime...

Dear Janet, Karen and I were saddened to hear about Jimmy. We worked together for many years and he helped so many we worked with with his positive attitude. He was not only loved by the people he worked with, his customers loved and trusted him as well.
