MILDRED M. MERRITT "Millie" and "Bill" (nee: Evans) age 96, of Bay Village, passed away November 27, 2013. She was the devoted wife of the late Woodrow W. She was the loving mother of Dennis C. (deceased) (Rita) and Richard O. (deceased) (Kurt Steinwascher). She was the proud grandmother of Eunice F., Teresa R. (Tom) Funk, Gloria L. and Barbara A. and great-grandmother of Brian J. Ristau, and dearest aunt of Rosemary Wright (nee: Evans). Millie was born June 13, 1917 in Middlefork Twp. IL and was the last of six children of both the late Charles O. and Myrtle Mae Evans (nee: Kelley). Millie loved to cook for her family, enjoyed traveling, and will be missed by her dog Rosie. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7pm, Monday, December 2 at the CATAVOLOS-BERRY FUNERAL HOME 23040 Center Ridge Rd. Westlake, where funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 7pm. Burial will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Olmsted Falls.
