Ray enjoyed bowling, golf, bocce, playing cards and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the Niles Moose Lodge #627, East Ohio Region #87 and Niles Eagles Lodge #1476.
Ray is survived by his son, Ret. Senior Master Sgt. John F. Gow of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, daughter; Laura Gow Brown of Cleveland, Ohio, Grandfather to Melissa (Tim) and great grandfather to Jacob. sister Janis (Philip) Toenniessen of Newfane, New York and sister in laws; Evelyn, Darlene and Maura Gow.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Gow and brothers John, Gary and Wayne Gow.
