I shared several classes in high school with Annie and always looked up to her because 1) she was taller than I was and 2) because she was very intelligent, very upbeat and a very popular young lady.  Keep her in your hearts and minds and prayers forever.  Annie, you will be missed by all.  Rock on.

Jerry and I often tell new people we meet that we've known each other since before we were born. Their perplexed look is typically followed by, "How is that possible?" After which we reveal to them that Anne and my mother Nuella were in the same Lamaze childbirth class together and that we would discuss various topics about what it will be like "out there" in the real world. Needless to say it's a silly story, but one that reminds us of our moms and the bonds we share with them. Rest in peace Anne.

Anne was a delightful person to know-had a great outlook on life- never complained- always had a smile to brighten your day.

To my second family-
While I mourn the loss of "Mom", and all the memories of times spent with her, my heart is lightened by the knowledge that she is with our Lord and that all the pain of this life's struggles has left her. I first got to know Anne when I became her sister's (Janet) Penpal in 1965 (and Jan and I are now real friends all these years later). For some years Anne and also corresponded when she sent me photos of her fanily. I send my love and sympathy to Chris, Karen, Tim and Jerry and their families.  Mavis Gray, Newcastle upon Tyne. In high school I regarded Anne as a person far superior to me, one that would have nothing to do with mere mortals such as myself.  Forty five years later, at a reunion, I was reintroduced to her through Harry, and I quickly realized how wrong I had been.  Anne was a warm, friendly, gregarious person, an avid antiquer and a rabid Penn State fan.  She and Harry visited us often and never failed to brighten our days.  I am honored to have known her.  She left the world a better place.

Many years ago, as a friend of her daughter Karen, I met Anne.  I thought she was a delightful, friendly, sweet lady.  I appreciated our conversations and have fond memories of her. I am so sorry this happened.  I extend my deepest sympathy to all her family and friends.

I first met Anne when she appeared at my 2nd birthday party.  Our mothers were neighbors on 10th Street and graduated from Central together.   Anne and I were neighbors and friends on Kahkwa Blvd. and graduated from Strong Vincent together.   We double dated often and were close friends for 60 years.  Being around someone so upbeat was always uplifting, and her sense of humor was inspiring.
