Brian Menagh Drury passed away August 22, 2019, age 72. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of John M. Drury and Mariana Brown. He grew up in Los Angeles and was a graduate of University High School and of California State University Northridge in 1969. He worked as an electric motor salesman for most of his life, but also worked for a time as a car dealer and realtor. He lived in the Netherlands for 3 years and in Scottsdale, Arizona, for almost 20 years before moving back to Southern California.
He had a passion for classic cars, classic rock, traveling, and spending time with his extended family. His time in Scottsdale gave him a lifelong love of the desert. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, his laugh and his love of family.
He is survived by son, Sean, of Simi Valley, and Risa, of Thousand Oaks, as well as 5 grandchildren, Asher, James, Brady, Paige and Chloé. A sister, Diana Curtiss, also survives him.
